This kind of event is the reason I began blogging in the first place. I feel all aquiver with excitement as I write!! Belles Events was born out of Kelly’s (the creator of Belles Events and one half of Sussex Love Bug) complete and utter dread of show casing her beloved Belle (a classic VW Beetle) at the standard, run of the mill wedding fairs.
Kelly works at Hove Town Hall and she felt it would allow the perfect back drop for the type of event she hoped to create, one where she would be proud to show off her dear Belle.
The first Belles Vintage Wedding Fair in May this year saw over 500 people through the door and a whole host of unique, individual and inspiring suppliers show casing their products and services.

Many of these gorgeous suppliers have booked again and you can expect to see them on 9th September along with some new faces;

Belles Events is also hosting Belles Bridal Bazaar on 20thOctober 2012. This promises to be‘not your average bridal fair’. It is not an exclusively vintage affair, instead will host offerings aplenty from unique and exciting local wedding suppliers and entertainers. I will be attending for sure and cannot wait to see what scrummy delights and inspiring creators Sussex has to offer.

I love how Kelly is bringing together the awesome talent Sussex has to offer with her events, they are not just a place for brides to be inspired or recruit suppliers but also a hub of inspiration and support for creative like minded individuals trying to make their place in the world of weddings.
As I have mentioned Kelly is also one half of Sussex love bug (I’m thinking I don’t know how she keeps all these balls in the air, taking my hat off right now!!!) Kelly and her husband Joss have had a lovely classic VW Beetle known by those that love her as Belle, painstakingly restored and she has chauffeured many a Sussex bride making their nuptial journey truly memorable. Belle sadly is due for retirement but have no fear as a new Beetle, also to be known as Belle is currently under restoration and will be ready to escort her first bride this autumn. There is a variety of packages to suit every bride, all packages include Belle dressed in ribbon in a colour to complement your wedding theme and other packages include bubbly and a CD with photos of the bride and her bridal party with Belle, to top it off there is even a cute vintage suitcase adorned with ‘just married’ which hangs on the back of Belle, so cute!
